Project Description

Cooper Grace Ward Lawyers engaged the team to source new premises as their current lease was due to expire. The firm chose 400 George Street in the exciting North Quarter precinct in Brisbane’s CBD for their new office headquarters. Upon finalising the lease for 3 floors at 400 George Street, Cooper Grace Ward engaged us to project manage the delivery of their new 4,275 sqm corporate office. Our role was to complete an integrated fit out within 18 months of engagement, including management of the design process and the construction phase of the fitout, relocation and defect management.

Key lease/integration/fitout issues required the early preparation of documentation to allow integration to occur and also meet the continual requirements of the Agreement for Lease.  This required effective management of, and communication with, the consultants to ensure delivery by critical dates.  Our client’s main objective was that the fit out and relocation was delivered on time and within budget.

We worked closely with our client throughout all phases of the project and provided independent advice during the entire transition period, which minimised the impact on the client’s time and resources allowing them to concentrate on their core business.
